Virtual Reality Workshop

Saturday, April 29th, 1:00pm

From early in Gregg Katano’s life, he had always struggled with managing the torrent of his creative thoughts, ideas and goals.  He decided to create a method to help him manage the “noise” which is now affectionately called the ‘Formula For Happiness’. It is a process for creative people to ‘dump’ their thoughts and organize them in a way that will assist them to bring most any idea or project to fruition and he will be sharing it with the audience.   It is very easy to understand but quite effective and he has taught students from various colleges in the Los Angeles area (Otis College, Pepperdine, and UCLA), media professionals, entrepreneurs, friends and family members.  He had recently been asked to present it to VR producers during CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2017 and independent filmmakers at the Topanga Film Festival.

Gregg will then share how his formula helped him get into virtual reality, decide to become a “cardboard peddler”, and become a leading evangelist and influencer in the VR community.  He will also share his thoughts on how one could possibly kickstart a career in virtual reality and the most important considerations before jumping in!
